Designing of Jib Cranes
Jib cranes feature a fundamental, user-friendly structure that is easy to maintain. As a highly mechanical lifting machine, it comprises numerous fittings and fixtures working together to facilitate the repositioning of heavy materials. Key components include:
– Boom (or Reach): As the name suggests, this is the part of the machinery that comes into contact with the material being transported. For freestanding cranes, the boom can rotate a full 360 degrees, while wall or pillar-mounted cranes offer rotation ranging from 180 to 360 degrees.
– Mast: A vertical, pillar-like structure that supports the boom of freestanding jib cranes.
– Hoist: The component responsible for lifting, positioning, and unloading the material.
– Trolley: The binding component of the jib, which can be either manual or mechanized. It carries the hoist, wires, wire ropes, chains, and hook along the boom.
– Control Buttons: Push-button controls used to operate the rotation of the boom and the motion of the trolley.

Types of Jib Cranes
Jib cranes are available in several types, each tailored to specific usage, design, and weight-lifting requirements:

  1. Column-Mounted Jib Cranes
This freestanding type of crane requires no complex fittings and can be directly installed on the floor. Customizable to suit your needs, it can be equipped with either electric or manual operation. The arm offers variable speed rotation (adjustable based on load) and can rotate a full 360 degrees with an arm length of up to 6 meters. Its weight-lifting capacity extends up to 5 tons.
  2. Mobile Floor Crane
Mobile jib cranes are designed for transporting materials both indoors and outdoors, making them ideal for assembly tool rooms. Floor-based and equipped with hydraulic cylinders and a pump, these cranes are highly effective and easily foldable for convenient storage. They have a weight-lifting capacity of up to 2 tons and feature a 3-level boom extension for enhanced reach.
  3. Wall-Mounted Cranes
Easily installed on walls without the need for a strong foundation, wall-mounted jib cranes offer rotation up to 270 degrees and a weight capacity of up to 3 tons. Customizable with manual or electric operation, their arm length can be adjusted from 2 to 6 meters to fit your specific workspace requirements.
